Jennifer Aniston Maintains Her Fit Figure With This Diet

Jennifer Aniston, at 53, has a figure that even women half her age envy. The actress, who famously portrayed Rachel Green on the hit sitcom Friends, has been in the business for more than three decades and still looks as fit as ever.

Her fantastic physique is, of course, the result of a fierce commitment to fitness and exercise and a healthy diet. Read on if you want to know what the star eats in a day to maintain that gorgeous figure.

Breakfast

According to Byrdie, Aniston starts her morning with warm lemon water. “[A]nd then I have a shake or avocado and eggs, which is one of my favorites,” she continued. “I sprinkle a little coconut oil on that. Sometimes, I'll have a puffed millet cereal with a banana, or I'll do oatmeal with an egg white whipped in at the end.”

The star of The Morning Show told Well+Good that her go-to breakfast shake consists of “some sort of pure protein, then bananas, blueberries, frozen cherries, stevia, a vegetable mix of dynamic greens that goes in there, maca powder, and a little cacao.”

Lunch And Dinner

Aniston describes her lunch and dinner as “some form of vegetables or salad with protein—pretty basic.” She’s such a fan of salads that she ate the same thing for lunch on the set of Friends for ten years: her version of a Cobb salad.

Her co-star Courtney Cox said, “It was a Cobb salad that Jennifer doctored up with turkey bacon and garbanzo beans, and I don't know what. She just has a way with food, which really helps. Because if you're going to eat the same salad every day for ten years, it'd better be a good salad, right?”

Snack

Snack for Aniston consists of “an apple and almond butter” or some nuts. She also keeps hard-boiled eggs and cut-up veggies in her ref for whenever she feels hungry.

In an interview with InStyle, the actress revealed that she eats a chip when stressed. Yes, just one chip. “Usually. I'm good at that. I can have one M&M, one chip. I know, that's so annoying,” she said. Oh, the discipline!

Indulgence

If Aniston’s daily meals sound too…er…unrelatable so far, know that she also indulges from time to time. Her favorite cheat meal used to be Mexican food until her ex-husband Justin Theroux “brought the pasta back into [her] life.”

She has since learned to cook his “irresistible” pasta carbonara, saying, “[I]t's not that bad for you! It's just an egg, parmesan cheese, and a little pasta water. And we substitute turkey bacon for real bacon, so, you know.”
